Has your pet been vomiting for more than 24 hours? Do you suspect they might have broken bones? Our veterinary team in White Bear Lake can provide emergency animal care for pets in need during our regular business hours. If you need to bring your pet to us for prompt medical attention, please call (651) 426-2246 in advance so we can prepare for your arrival.
We understand how upsetting pet emergencies can be. Our team will do everything possible to put your mind at ease and keep you informed of your pet's condition throughout their treatment.
Not sure if your pet needs urgent care? They may be having an emergency if they are:
- Having difficulty breathing
- Bleeding from the nose, ears or mouth
- Unable to stand and walk
- Disoriented and bumping into things
- Unable to eliminate
- Unusually warm
- Having a seizure
- Having an allergic reaction
- Not eating or drinking
For After-Hours Emergencies
If our hospital is closed and your pet needs to see a veterinarian immediately, we recommend taking them to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota-Oakdale. Their experienced emergency veterinarians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year to provide urgent care.
